Our mission is to provide a supportive environment for students to learn music production using Ableton Live. Operating in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, Beat Bridge, founded by Luca Cupitt, offers immersive workshops to inspire creativity and foster musical talent.

We offer group music production workshops for easy learning, 1 on 1 lessons to fast track your learning experience, Holiday programs to give you or your child something to do and homeschool programs to build a musical community!

We take you all the way from having no idea!

About Luca

Luca is a multi instrumentalist and producer that has been involved with music since a young age, Recording and producing multiple songs of many different genres and playing live shows with his band BLUE HILL.
Luca has been producing music for 10 years and been working n the music industry for the past 4 years.

Qualifications

• Diploma in music production

• Working with children's check

• Police check

• Valid insurance

What is our workshop?

Beginner Workshop

Our workshop aims to bring you from not knowing anything to having enough understanding to produce and record a full song start to finish, If that excited you read on.

How Long?

• 1 night a week

• 2 hours a night

• 8 weeks

Do I need anything?

• No! We provide everything!

What will I learn?

• Week 1 - The first week, Learn the basics of Ableton and the hardware used in recording + How to create custom drums.

• Week 2 - Learn to bring the melodies in your head to life by creating Bass lines, Chord progressions and melodies + How to make custom Synths/sounds.

• Week 3 - Learning song arrangements and how to use essential effects like reverb and delay.

• Week 4 - The Deciding week! Either use your song you have been working on or start a new project with your newly learned skills, aim to have a finished song by the end of the program! We will also learn advanced techniques like automation, EQ and Compression!

• Week 5 - Audio week, Learn how to record vocals like rap and singing, Along with instruments like guitar, piano ECT. Bring a instrument if you can play one!

• Week 6 - Sound design, Learn how to make the sound of someone singing into a playable instrument and learn how to turn the same sound into a full drum kit!

• Week 7 - your song will be coming along nicely by now, This week we learn how to give it a magic splash with advanced effects and mixing techniques!

• Week 8 - Our final week! Learn how to turn the master piece you have made into a product that is ready for Spotify and Radio!
